Fishing Outposts

At Ganglers, we understand outpost fishermen are a different breed. No schedules, the ability to explore areas at will, the outpost fishermen thrives on fishing waters with an independence one can only achieve on their own .   

Ganglers has perfected the Canadian outpost. Too many other lodges maintain outpost facilities that border on the extremely rustic, where outpost anglers are merely an afterthought.  The term ‘running water’ shouldn’t mean running with a pail down to the lake.  Ganglers  is exceptional, having handcrafted a series of outposts that offer amenities  comparable to most main lodges.   At Gangler’s ,the outpost angler will ‘have his cake and eat it too!’ Large comfortable cabins,  hotel issue beds, modern kitchen and facilities, ice machines, custom boats and motors,  free satellite Internet, and a camp manager onsite at all times to ensure your comfort and safety plus supply an intimate knowledge of the fishery.  All food is supplied onsite. Cooking and guiding services are also available at an extra fee. 

All Gangler’s outposts are based on large bodies of water with each camp limited on capacity, ensuring the first-class fishery outpost anglers are entitled to.  Each lake features access to the famous North Seal fishery and most offer access to portage lakes as well. There is no other area that compares in Canada for access to the unique  Canadian Grand Slam of huge pike, lake trout, walleye, and arctic grayling.  This vast 7200 sq. mile area is exclusive to Gangler’s guests. In 2008, Ganglers guests caught 7 out of the top 15 trophy pike in Manitoba and the largest lake trout. No other outfitter can boast that !
